short-text

wonderland-text

A former warehouse reimagined as a warm family home, where raw industrial character meets refined contemporary living. The layout unfolds around a double-height kitchen crowned by a mezzanine, with four bedrooms thoughtfully divided between two levels — two upstairs and two below, creating a balance of openness, privacy, and spatial flexibility.

Designed as a renovation for a father and son, the villa transforms an existing residence into a calm, light-filled family retreat organised around a private courtyard. Expansive glazing dissolves the boundary between indoor and outdoor spaces, bringing gardens and the swimming pool into the heart of daily life. The three-bedroom layout is arranged to provide privacy for both generations while centring everyday life around a series of open, interconnected living spaces.

good-story-villas-text

Rather than making a statement, the villa lets its setting take the lead. Conceived as a sequence of low, horizontal pavilions, the residence opens toward the garden through deep overhangs, full-height glazing, and a continuous connection to water. The architecture relies on proportion rather than spectacle, pairing crisp grey planes with warm timber and dark stone to create interiors that feel simultaneously restrained and inviting. Throughout, courtyards, reflecting pools, and carefully framed views soften the transition between inside and out, allowing the tropical setting to become an integral part of everyday life.

Nova Palm explores the relationship between shelter and openness within a tropical setting. Defined by a limited palette of concrete, timber and stone, the project seeks clarity through proportion, construction and the careful orchestration of natural light. The living spaces are conceived as open rooms, extending beyond the enclosure of glass to engage directly with the garden and water. Boundaries remain deliberately understated, allowing the architecture to be experienced as a continuous sequence rather than a collection of separate interiors. Throughout the house, attention is directed toward atmosphere. The precision of the detailing, the warmth of the materials and the quiet presence of the landscape establish an environment that is both composed and deeply inhabitable.

A city apartment in Tbilisi, 2019–2023. Kitchen, dining and living areas run one behind the other, divided only by slender steel-framed glazing. The palette is narrow: pale cabinetry, brushed steel, herringbone parquet and dark timber, with arched openings to the private rooms.
